The nine that move
Yealink handsets already on desks — they re-provision, nothing to buy
Retired
No longer needed — they come off the system
Separate job
Analogue phones — quoted on their own
Still required, just not on this platform. Also separate: the cordless handset for reception.
Three to confirm on site
Checked at the first visit, before anything moves
One sequencing point
The analogue phones, the Alarm and the Bell all hang off the MyPBX, so the old box stays powered until that separate work lands. It can't come out the day the handsets cut over. Worth agreeing the order early.
Two things you asked
"…an additional portable phone at reception — but would still like the cell phone option, particularly useful as a back up if system down."
The office mobile keeps its extension and gains the softphone app, so it rings as a village extension anywhere. And the system won't be in your cupboard any more — a fault at the village can't take it down. The cordless handset is quoted alongside the analogue work.
"…with lots of people in the building and few staff, we envisage these getting lost."
Agreed — nothing that's fixed today becomes portable. Kitchen, Hair Salon, Staffroom and Bistro Kitchen stay as they are.
